Welcome to the Trinity College Student Government Association Website.

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as an advisory board to the Trinity College Administration, Faculty and Staff. The body consists of five class senators from each class, five senators-at-large, and an executive board, all of whom are elected through a general election. The SGA consists of numerous committees which work to improve every aspect of student life at Trinity. The body is also responsible for the Student Activities Fee Fund which totals approximately $750,000 annually and finances student activities, clubs and organizations, and services for students.

We are launching this site in an effort to make the Student Government more transparent and visible at Trinity College. It is also meant to be a useful resource for students and we hope that students will make the site their home page. In addition to a list of popular links for Trinity students, there is also a blog which students can register for in order to post entries.

TrinitySGA.com offers a brief history of the SGA, and records such as minutes from our meetings and resolutions that have passed through the senate. Students can become more familiar with the structure of the SGA and its committees to better understand how the organization operates and the services it provides to students. There are also photos and bios of the entire SGA, so that you can get to know your senators and the executive board.

We are also open to recommendations and you can feel free to e-mail your ideas to the site’s webmaster, Senator Nathan Kirschbaum. We hope that you take some time to explore the site.

Sincerely,

Andrew Maia

President of the SGA
