The Elections, Recruitment, and Communications Committee is the primary public relations agent of the SGA. It is our job to publicize and promote any actions taken by the SGA. We are also responsible for recruitment of members of the student body to SGA positions. Finally, we facilitate critical feedback from the student body.
The committee meets in the Cave every Sunday at 6:15 pm.

Goals:

Take the results of the SGA’s Student Needs Survey and ensure problems highlighted are addressed, as well as create and distribute an updated version of the Survey.

Work with the Webmaster to improve the SGA Website and increase its use.

Increase the number of people that run for SGA positions and vote in SGA Elections. One example: ERC will hold SGA Debates for Executive Board candidates in the Spring Elections.

Make the SGA into a significantly more transparent body. One example: ERC will distribute “On the Can,” an informational flyer posted on the doors of campus bathroom stalls, to publicize SGA actions.
