Budget Committee

The SGA Budget Committee (SGABC) is comprised of members elected from the student body, and members appointed from within the SGA. The SGABC is charged with allocating funds from the SAF to student organizations for non-entertainment related events (conferences, lectures, speakers, supplies for academic events, etc.).

In order to request funding from the SGABC, simply fill out an Event Expenditure Request Form, which can be found under the Finance tab. Both individual students and recognized student organizations can request funding from the SGABC. After submitting the forms, the student/organization will be contacted via e-mail to schedule a hearing, at which time the student/organization will give a brief presentation. The student/organization will then be notified, again via e-mail, of the SGABC’s decision.
