National Campus Energy Challenge
Beginning tomorrow, February 8, 2008, I urge you all (students, faculty, staff, and administration) to make a strong effort to reduce your energy consumption. Trinity is taking part in a competition called the National
Campus Energy Challenge where schools all over the United States are saving energy for the month of February in an attempt to win some fabulous prizes. As Trinity’s February electricity bill begins on the 8th and goes until March 8, this is when you need to do the most — turn off the lights when you leave your room, unplug all of your electronic devices and appliances, etc.
While it would be cool to win some neat stuff for our College, it’s really just an incentive; ideally, everyone will do this to try to save Mother Nature as our generation battles against the major issues of global warming and climate change. I urge you to check out climatechallenge.org/ncec for more information. Go Bantams!
