  Perhaps, as a Web site that has not officially endorsed a candidate, the SGA should refrain from favoring certain candidates? If the message is simply to encourage students to vote, the SGA should not be attempting to influence the voters’ choice by inserting personal opinions.

  Katy, Thanks for taking the time to comment.

  I should make it clear, though, that the SGA does not endorse candidates. While this website as a whole is run by the SGA, the Blog portion of the site is open to, and created by, students. In fact, students can write about anything they wish as long as they abide by this websites policies. The opinions expressed in the blog portion of the website belong to the individuals who are making them.
