Tampering with campaign materials

Elections 1 Comment »

I just wanted to post requesting that anyone who notices that campaign materials (flyers, for instance) are being tampered with please report it to either Nathan Kirschbaum, SGA President, or Adam Katcher, Chair of the Elections, Recruitment & Communication Committee. I noticed some of my signs went mysteriously missing, although I affixed them to the inside of doors with a piece of tape on each corner… I would like to think it was simply a custodian who needed to clean the glass, but if you see anything (even if it is someone employed by Trinity who just seems to be doing their job), I urge you to notify those I mentioned above — I’m sure all candidates would appreciate it if their hard work didn’t suddenly vanish! Thank you!

Hey Everyone!!

My name is Melissa Litwack, and I am running for SGA as a 2010 class-senator. I have been on SGA for two semesters now as part of the Campus Climate/Diversity Committee. In addition, I am the President of Hillel, Moderator 3 (finances) for the Inter-Social Council, and the Hillel representative on the Multi-Cultural Affairs Council. I love being active on campus because I feel that it’s the best way to effect change on our campus, and I’ve found SGA to be one of (if not the best) vehicles for positive change at Trinity.

This semester I want to continue my work with the Campus Climate/Diversity Committee to help with implementing new social spaces on campus, specifically renovating the cave to make if more user friendly. I also want to help re-evaluate our pre-Trinity programs, such as PRIDE, to help them become more effective and able to reach a wider audience.

I’m easily accessible, and I encourage anyone with any questions about/for me to send me an e-mail. I hope everyone votes for me on the 30th. Thanks so much!!

Melissa Litwack
