Just as a little update on the Elections, Recruitment, and Communications Committee, here are our top goals at the moment:
- recruit a new Senator-at-Large and a Senior Class Senator
- hire a webmaster
- get out the new version of the Student Survey
- analyze the survey results when they come in
- update the SGA Web site
- get ready for elections in the Spring
- promote advertising of all SGA actions

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Senator-at-Large Position

Oct 12, 2008   //   by Jordyn Sims   //   Elections, Recruitment, & Communications Committee  //  No Comments

I’m sorry to report that Senator-at-Large Dan Taylor has resigned his position. However, as he was a senator-at-large, his position is open to anyone in the student body, regardless of their class year. If you are interested in the position, please come to the SGA meeting this evening in Hamlin Hall at 7:00 p.m. Come prepared to give a one to two minute speach on why you feel you are the most qualified for the job. The time commitment includes attending weekly senate meetings, generally from 7:00 p.m. to about 8:30 p.m. on Sundays and a committee meeting of about half an hour to an hour and a half during the week.

Again, if you’re interested in the position, please come to Hamlin Hall this evening at 7:00 p.m. We look forward to hearing from you!
