Hello Everyone!
If anyone wanted to know about other cool things happening during common hour on Thursday 18th, I will be giving a budget presentation of sorts in Terrace Room B. Intended for anyone who wants to start a club, existing clubs’ leaders who have questions about requesting money from Budget Committee, or for the fun of it. A light lunch will be provided. At our last Budget Committee meeting, a new honorarium policy was unanimously voted into the SGA’s Allocations Manual. Changes will go into effect beginning next semester. Questions may be directed to the Vice President of Finance at Krystal.Ramirez@trincoll.edu.

The SGA’s Budget Committee will have its final meeting on Thursday, November 12 at 4:30pm in Seabury N-128. All requests for funding for the remainder of the Fall semester that would like to have a hearing scheduled must submit an Event/Expenditure Request Form (available under the Documents tab) and cover letter to SGABudgetCommittee@yahoo.com by Monday, November 9 at noon in order to be considered. Questions may be directed to the Vice President of Finance via e-mail.

The SGABC will have its first official meeting of the semester this Thursday, October 1. For more information about requesting funding from the Budget Committee, please consult the SGA’s Allocations Manual, which can be found under the Documents tab.
If after reading the Allocations Manual an individual or a student group has questions, he/she/they may e-mail the Vice President of Finance at Krystal.Ramirez@trincoll.edu.

For information about starting/reactivating a student organization on campus, please see the “How To Start A Club” PDF under the Documents tab. The deadline to submit Applications for Recognition is noon on Monday, September 21, 2009.

Just to let everyone know, the Budget Committee has allocated all of its funds for this year so we will not be meeting anymore this year.
Also the final ~$1,000,000 SAF budget was approved last night. If anyone has questions about the budget, please contact me via email.

The SGA Budget Committee has three open positions available to the student body. If you are interested in joining, please come to the SGA Senate meeting this SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8 at 7:00 pm in Hamlin Hall.
