What’s Going On???
Hey Senators,
I’m abroad and need updates. What is everyone up to? What are the committee agendas for the semester? I may be far away, but I am still a pain. Keep me and the rest of the student body informed. I hope everyone is having a great semester.
Thanks
Bryce

BRYCE WE MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE WORLD IS ENDING WITHOUT YOU BRYCE!!!!
We updated our photos. Check em out, we’re a good-lookin’ bunch this semester
As much as I appreciate the sentiments (perhaps one more than the other
), i really would like to know what’s going on. Perhaps one of you could push for some online committee reports?
PS-We’re always a good-lookin’ bunch… though i will say that i was sad you didn’t use the pictures of people inside the fireplace. =
Dear Bryce,
The SGA has been busy! The semester started out very strong right from the get-go with two huge accomplishments. The first was getting the College to purchase a multi-purpose floor for the Koeppel Sports Center. Given the economic times this was no small request, but the SGA got it done. Senators met with administrators, Nathan toiled for weeks, and we finally worked it out to get the floor. This is a major win for the Student Body, as we now have a proper venue capable of holding events for all 2,300 of us (and more). Second, the SGA negotiated with Chartwells (and continues to be in regular discussion with Toby) to bring about an end to the three meal per day limit. This will go into effect for a one month trial period this semester right after spring break. Obviously this is a hugely popular accomplishment, and is part of a larger effort to address the needs of students with regards to their meal plans. So, those are probably the two biggest things to date. Sorry it’s taken a while to get a response. if you’ve been getting reading the blog I’m sure you have a cross sectional view of what we’ve been up to. Post again if there’s anything more you want to know about specifically. In addition to those two major events, a number of projects are underway by Senators and within committees. The SGA this semester is an enormously talented group of individuals (including some new faces!).
