The following is an excerpt from the opening page of the 2008 Student Needs Survey:

We randomly selected 800 Trinity College students for this survey, and mailed them links to the survey online on January 23rd 2008. After a week we mailed a reminder to the non-respondents. 342 students responded, amounting to a 43% response rate. Since the response rates varied significantly by gender and class year (from 34% among Soph males to 57% among 1st year females) results below have been weighted by gender and class year.

James J. Hughes Ph.D.,
Associate Director of
Institutional Research and Planning

Below is a preview of the kind of information you will find in the survey. You will also find a link where you can download the complete document.

  • It is good to know that many students care about recycling. As the head of the Campus Infrastructure Committee, I am trying, along with other SGA Senators, to work on bettering the system. If anyone has any comments, questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at Krystal.Ramirez@trincoll.edu.
