End of the Semester
Hey Everyone,
I’m sure we’re all stressed with finals or busy enjoying must deserved rest, but I just want to take this chance to do an online brainstorm for next semester. What would you like to see the SGA work on? Nothing is too big or too small.
For my part, I would like the SGA to become more active in the planning of next year’s First Year Orientation. I feel like there is never enough student involvement in the planning of these events and the SGA could do a better job of offering constructive criticism from the perspective of students that have been through the program over the last few years.
Have a Great Holiday!
Bryce

Great idea, Bryce. I think we in the Academic Affairs can definitely re-engage on orientation. We started to take a look at it earlier this semester, but in general there were more pressing items on the agenda.
1) Keep pressing Gallows Hills renovations.
Make sure Chartwells got the nutritionist as it promised
2) Keep the Food Committee developing in the way that it is.
3) Get someone to do something about all the dangerous icy patches around campus.
4) Re-examine the credit limit system of the college.
5) Press the President and his advisers to enact some measures from the Sustainability Plan developed by Misbach and Sustainability Committee
6) ATMs/something for money transactions on North Campus
7) January Term!!
9) Seriously evaluate if the book reserve thing is actually used
what? why is there a smiley face in my post?
I thought that it had been discussed but so far no results: CineStudio ticket prices need to be significantly cheaper.I think campus climate would be willing to working on this issue since affordable movies on campus would likely be more heavily attended. Also, I agree that an atm on north campus needs to be a priority.

I would like to see the academic calendar looked into, perhaps it is possible to get our calendar more in line with other colleges
