My Candidacy for SGA Vice President of Finance

Mar 22, 2009   //   by Krystal Ramirez   //   Elections  //  No Comments

As Spring elections are rapidly approaching, I would like to officially announce my candidacy for the position of SGA Vice President of Finance. I feel that I have the necessary experience and leadership skills for the role and would do a great job serving the student body. During my time with the SGA as a Senator-At-Large (going on 2 years now), I have been a Committee Chair, and thus on the organization’s Steering Board, and I have proven that I am capable of taking initiative, as well as working with my peers, to get things done. Most recently, I have served on the Budget Committee, which has allowed me to demonstrate that I am open-minded and will consider all expenditures, while at the same time remaining fiscally responsible. Overall, I am an organized, trustworthy person, and I hope to make the Student Activities Fund more transparent so that everyone knows where their money is going. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to e-mail Krystal.Ramirez@trincoll.edu. Otherwise, I encourage you to support me for Vice President of Finance and vote on either Tuesday, April 7 or Wednesday, April 8!

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Bothered by some of the things you hear around campus?

Looking for ways to respond or intervene?

If so, consider attending a Common Hour that will create dialogue around the effects of derogatory language on individuals as well as the campus community as a whole.

Today on the Trinity Exchange I noticed that Chartwells posted a link to a customer satisfaction survey: http://www.customsurveys.biz/Chartwells/2009/Spring/Trinity_College — I highly encourage everyone to use this opportunity to give feedback. The link will be open through March 13th.
